We got to the Airport about 2.5 hours before the security opened to let people on the secure side of the airport, so we chilled out for that long, then went through security at 5:15.  Our flight left at 7:15 and we arrived in Rome at 9:30.  The weather today in Rome was FANTASTIC.  Probably 15 C, sunny, beautiful (Though I’d say I am sunburnt from today).  Jumped on a 4 euro bus from Rome Airport to the main train station (Termini station) which is right next to where our hostel is located.  Once we found the hostel and dropped our baggage off, we started to walk.  Neither of us had eaten since midnight last night (about 12 hours) so we went to a pizzeria.  This pizzeria I have to say, for price and quality, this was the cheapest, best, and most filling meal I’ve had since I’ve come to Europe.   For 13.30 euros each, we had a 12″ pizza each, a litre of wine to split, a appetiser pizza thing, bread, and an espresso each.  From there, we walked around Rome, walked random streets, and looked at some of the sights, but didn’t go in anywhere.  Definitely was a good first day, especially since I haven’t slept in a while.  I need to get a good sleep tonight.  Tomorrow will be a day full of stuff to do!
